Thermomix Basil Pesto is a versatile staple for all families – an addition to salads, chicken or fresh pastas,this will be a new family favourite.
Whilst travelling in New Zealand I became addicted to pesto and I knew as soon as I came home I would recreate my own in the Thermomix
1 bunch of fresh basil, leaves only
25 grams raw cashews
1 clove garlic
35 grams sharp Parmesan
3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1. Place Basil, Cashews, Garlic and Parmesan into the Thermomix bowl. Pulse Turbo 5 times with lid secured.
2. Add Olive Oil into the Thermomix bowl. Mix on speed 4 for 10 seconds
3. Add to a variety of dishes – can be stored in a airtight jar or container for 2-3 days
