Chocolate and Macadamia Muffins are a match made in muffin heaven.
This recipe is super simple and in 4 steps you can have fresh Chocolate and Macadamia Muffins to enjoy for work, school or even at home.
This muffin recipe uses a mix of milk and dark chocolate, if you have a preference for a specific chocolate it can easily be swapped out for the same quantity. I use the mini chocolate chips for this recipe but you can easily use the larger ones.
Chocolate and Macadamia Muffins
1 cups of self raising flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup full cream milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup macadamia halves
1. Place Self Raising Flour and Sugar into a bowl, mix to combine.
2. Combine egg, milk and oil to the mixture.
3. Fold chocolate and macadamia nuts through the mixture.
4. Spoon Mixture into a muffin tray and bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden.
Remove muffins from the tin to cool on a wire rack.
Makes 8 large muffins
This recipe is a great addition to any school or work lunch. Please note if your children’s school lunch is nut free these can be made with just the chocolate pieces.
